15” Celluloid Head Marks Brothers Of Boston USA Doll. This doll is clearly marked on the back of her shoulder plate. I believe the body to be a replacement. It has China lower arms and legs and a very hard stuffed cloth body. The head has a prominent seam across the top with a patched hole at the center crown. This doll was part of my 93 year old MILs doll collection. I have no history on the doll. The doll reference guide said that Marks Brosthers of Boston were importers of Celluloid dolls 1895-1930. Very unusual doll. She will be shipped Priority Mail.
