Q: What if I can’t align my studs with the pre-drilled holes on the track?
A: Attach a 1” thick header board to the studs and assemble the track to the board. You can paint the header board to match the wall or the door color.
Q: Can I cut this track down to the length I need?
A: Sure! You can customize your own sliding track! We recommend the use of an angle grinder.
Q: How can I deal with the doorway trim?
A: Attach a header board with the same thickness as your doorway trim to the stud and mount the sliding track to the header board.
Q: What hardware is needed if I want to install one more door?
A: You can get another set of the same pulley kits as you bought for the other door. The set includes the floor guide and anti-bounce device.
