French sterling silver sewing set (two matching pieces, three assembled) see photos.
All pieces but thimble (which is brass) marked with French boars head for sterling and
fitted in a beautiful kingwood veneered box.
The lid inlaid with brass stringing and mother of pearl cartouche.
There is a push button closure that works well.
The fitted interior lined in blue silk (well worn)
Condition: Exterior of case with no damage or missing inlay.
Two original pieces (scissors & awl) the rest assembled.
Measures: 4.75" × 2.5".
