This Victorian burl walnut sewing table or work table features two shapely drawers, and dates from the 1880s in wonderful condition. This sewing table has a fresh green felt replacement top. The finish looks like it has been over-cleaned or over-glazed in the last 20-30 years, but still looks great. They usually call these sewing or worktables, as they feature a bottom curved drawer that holds fabric. This antique sewing table also has a burl raised panel top drawer is all dove tail. It has flared out ogee bevel edge sides with a scallop shaped wooden frame on top that highlights the felt top. This Victorian antique has cutout sides and a large center turn cross stretcher that holds everything together. The overall size is 35 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 29 inches high. The bottom drawer is 24 inches high. Most people use these for telephone stands or a small writing desk. Shipping starts at 5 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
