Antique Silver Double Charm of Buddha and Lotus Pod

Description

Unusual paired Chinese silver amulets/beads of the Buddha and a lotus pod. The pieces have rattles inside, to ward off evil spirits (?). Bought from a reputable antique bead dealer in the 1980s. The Buddha measures 5/8" tall by 3/4" wide by 1/2" deep, excluding the bail. The lotus pod measures 9/16" tall by 1/2" in diameter, excluding the bail. Together, the pair weighs 6.89 grams.
In excellent condition, free of any dents or cracks. The pair are slightly darker and less shiny than the pictures show. I enhanced color and shine to show their details; the use of a silver polish cloth would provide this enhancement, should you choose.
