Audio Research Tube Amplifier D-160.
This amplifier is in very good condition for its vintage and operating just as it should. It has been used daily for the past several weeks and has been our preferred Amplifier for power-hungry speakers. Cosmetically there is a scratch on one of the handles, a small chip of paint has flaked off of one of the transformers and there’s a very small nickel sized bit of oxidation on the top (please see pictures). Sonically this is a very strong performer. We have used it the power everything from Magneplanar MG2Cs to JBL L100s and it never fails to impress.
