  • Condition: Here's a great opportunity to own the classics. Being offered is the CC-2 stereo power amp with matching BT-2 preamplifier. These were purchased new by a family member in 1980 and he owned them till his passing. The BT-2 preamp was born with serial number #10682 and the CC-2 power amp with serial number #08387. The original sales brochure and spec sheet as shown is include. The power amp performs flawlessly with no issues ... the preamp had some distortion on one channel so I took it for repairs ... they replaced capacitors on the audio output board but apparently the phono section is proprietor specific ... so they couldn't repair but suggested a phono preamp for a turntable and then connect through the AUX section. So now it works great with the TAPE, AUX, and TUNER modes ... and the PHONO mode is as previously noted. The amp offers a strong 70w rms ... more than enough for most home situations. Hard-to-find units ... super difficult to find in such beautiful condition.
