Celluloid Head Doll With German Schutz-Marke/Composition Body 9"

Description

This is an excellent 9" doll dressed in a sailor suit. The celluloid head has the Schutz-Marke (turtle in a triangle) and Z/6 on the lower neck. There is also very small script that is difficult to see, but may be the word Germany. I cannot get a better picture of the entire mark for fear of damaging the head because the neck of the doll fits tightly into the body.
The face has excellent molding of the hair, eye lids, and open smiling mouth with two teeth and molded tongue. This happy guy has a dimple on either side of his smile and on his chin. HIs painted blue eyes have creases at the corners.
The composition body has hook and elastic joints and painted socks and shoes.
This doll is shipped double boxed. Doll stand not included.
