"
I'm loving what this little amp has done for the sound. The control that it has over the speakers is just amazing. The first thing that struck me was the clarity and slam on all instruments. The music feels tight and clear, with nice
sound-stage
depth and width. The scale of the sound is huge, and I'm enjoying listening to my CD collection again."
"This mighty little amplifier is astounding! I moved up to this amplifier from a 00 class ab amp. The detail and
sound-stage
is breathtaking! Plenty of robust power for my Martin Logan's. Wow!"
"
Mini GaN 5 Amplifier. The sound reproduction that my ears experience are precise 3 dimensional harmonically clear frequencies that are juicy and soft with no sting. Very easy to listen to my ears. Immersive and enjoyable."
"
Now I could not wait to compare i on my main speakers vs a 4 channel Sparke A4.320, running as a 2 channel. The speakers are Audience ClairAudient 4 + 4 v2+, through an Oppo 205 and Marantz 8802A. First I played Keith Don't Go by Nils Lofgren, immediately the stunning guitar tone and natural voices were evident. Next up was Kiss In Blue by Yello, again voices were amazing, so natural with all the correct human voice infections. It is about 6pm, record after record, mostly streaming. So what about other audiophile concerns. Bass was tight, tuneful and effortless control. Treble was smooth, detailed and extended, with high hat cymbals and triangles very crisp and wonderful tone and decay. Next up Lily Was Here by Candy Dulfer, again the Sax was pure with fast transients. More and more music until eventually we came across Handle With Care by Traveling Wilburys and what was stunning was how easy it was to pick out Harrison, Lynne, Petty, Dylan and Orbison, the voices from this little daring are so good. At 1am I have to stop, where did so many hours go, next........"
"Class D can sound thin and gritty, none of that here, even poor recorded records remain listenable.
Midrange. Male and female voices are a true strength, even friends say the vocalists are in my room, nothing can be better than that. What is also stunning is the tone, tonal neutrality and space. The space around instruments and people has probably been the biggest change as the amplifier is used. More width, more depth, the speakers are really transparent now, everything comes in space 10ft high, wider than each speaker and as deep as they are in the room."
"
Bass. Everything is fast, very fast. Class D can sound thin in the bass, which is why I could not keep the Wyred4Sound, even the top of the line monoblocks, could not compete here. A small improvement in the bass in space is observed as it has matured, and everything just seems more relaxed and open."
"After so many huge and heavy beasts over the years, Parasound, Quad, Emotiva, Carver, Rotel, Meridian, Wyred4Sound, Nuprime, Odyssey, NAD, Cary, Linn, Starke and Lexicon, I wanted to find a class D with the sonics of the best class A/B, which I have no desire to lift anymore, so I needed to dethrone the Parasound and Nuprime, and eventually I have."
