The Guyatone EM-606, released in Japan in 1978 during the “Golden Era” of Japanese audio equipment, is a fantastic analog tape delay and echo unit. Although the Roland Space Echo line is the most well known vintage Japanese tape delay unit, this Guyatone competitor also offers exceptional quality, and at a great price point. The EM-606 features 2 ins (mic or line level), bass and treble tone controls, and delay controls for speed, repeats, and echo level. This effect unit is based on a tape cartridge system, loaded from the front panel. This thing sounds very cool and will be a welcome addition to your effects collection. This one is in very good condition, so don’t miss out!
This unit is in very good condition, with some signs aging (please see photos), including some minor scratches and some oxidation of the metal part on the back side. The whole unit has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation.
