    Description

    Set of four (4) cups and two (2) saucers  in the "Moderntone" Platonite pastel pattern of glass.  This pattern was manufactured by the Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1940 until the early 1950's.  I identified this pattern in the book "Collectible Glassware from the 40's, 50's, and 60's" by Cathy & Gene Florence (copyright 2010, 10th edition) on pages 139-145.  All of these cups are pink in color, although because of the age of the items, the color does not appear uniform to me. Some of the cups seem a little darker than the others, and the saucers look a little lighter to me.
    Each cup stands 2 1/2" tall with an opening of 4" and the saucers are 5 1/2" in diameter.  All of the pieces are in very good vintage condition with no chips, no cracks, no damage at all!  Please see the photos.
