Description
The Marantz PM-14SA, released in Japan in 1999, is a high-fidelity integrated amplifier with a clear, well-balanced sound and designed with the high-resolution SACD format in mind. The PM-14SA follows in the footsteps of the PM-14, featuring a solid and highly precise copper-plated, high-specific gravity zinc die-cast chassis, on which a phono equalizer amplifier, balance buffer amplifier, preamplifier, tone control amplifier, power amplifier, and power supply are mounted. In this amp, 100% direct current feedback is applied to the first stage, and the DC servo noise is eliminated by adjusting the DC offset of an adjustable HDAM (high-speed voltage amplification module). With a preamp with high drive capability at low noise and high slew rate, the PM-14SA offers highly enhanced responsivity and dynamic range, to meet the requirements of ultra-high-fidelity digital audio. The PM-14SA features excellent technical specs, such as separate MM and MC phono amplifiers, an output rated at 100 W per channel (8 ohms), and a total harmonic distortion (THD) of <0.008%. This amp is built to the exceptional standard that has made the Marantz name famous for high-quality amplifiers, and we’re sure you’ll love its sound.
This unit is in very good condition, without minimal signs of age (please see photos), including some scratches and colorations. It has been thoroughly tested, checked, and refurbished by our professional in-house technician, confirming its flawless working quality. Does not include power cable.
