One of the top point guards of all time, Mark Price was equally productive and tough as nails. A smart player who could do it all offensively, he annually ranked among the league leaders in assists as well as shooting from the 3-point line - his .402 career mark is 31st on the NBA's all-time list - and shooting from the charity stripe - his .904 career mark is second on the all-time list. The four-time All-Star put together an incredible three-season run ('88-89-'90-91) in which he averaged 8.9 assists per game. In an era when point guards were primarily just distributors, Price could shoot as well as anyone. Four times in his career he finished in the top 10 in 3-pointers made. His 976 career shots from long distance put him at 92nd on the all-time list. In the 1993 All-Star Game in Salt Lake City, he went 6-for-9 from 3-point range in scoring 19 points for the East. Price ranks second to LeBron James on the Cavaliers career list in 3-point field goals and 3-point field goals attempted.
