Description
This is an original NAD D3020 amp (not V2) that I've used with great results with my KEF LS50 speakers. I've just changed my entire system and replaced this D3020 with amplification that costs almost 10x as much. This amp works just as well as it did on day one when I bought it, but cosmetically it shows some signs of age. The remote, as you can see in the photos, has small scratches on the back from being put down on my desk. Also, the remote's rubberized coating has gotten sticky and has worn in spots. Apparently some people just remove the coating altogether once this happens, but I'll leave that to the new owner. The sides of the amp itself also suffer from the same stickiness, although since I rarely touched the sides they are in good condition. The glossy hard plastic front and top of the amp are in very good condition.
It also should be noted that the original D3020 had a couple of ergonomic quirks. One is that the top-panel touch controls are not very sensitive. They work but often take more than a light touch. My D3020 has always been like this. The other quirk is that the on button on the remote often has to be pressed twice for the amp to turn on. This, too, has been an issue from when I bought the amp and appears to be endemic to the D3020.
Sonically, the amp is great. One of the features I really loved was the bass boost function, which is perfect for small speakers that need a bit more bass in many situations, like my KEF LS50s.
As seen in the photos, the amp comes with the original packaging. I didn't show the power cable but of course it's included.
I'm also selling some Kimber Kable 8VS cable and a pair of 18' Analysis Plus Oval 12 speaker cables.
