    Antique 19TH C MAUCHLINE WARE CATSKILL MOUNTAINS NY Scotland WOOD SEWING BOX
    Here for your review is a really nicely made HTF American Scene Mauchlineware Sewing Box.  It is made of wood with a paper base and it is lined with a silk fabric. It is marked Shady Glen Manor Catskill Mountains New York State. It is a very scarce item due to the American scene which is more difficult to find as well as the unique wooden straps on the box.
    It measures approx just short of 2" (1 7/8") tall to top of wood raised portion and is approx 4.25" X 3 1/8".
