    MADE IN CANADA
    When your patio door lock stops working the problem is usually with the mortise lock and not the sliding glass door handle. You can replace the mortise lock by first unscrewing the patio door handle. Once the handle is removed, place a flat blade screwdriver in the mortise lock keyway and twist until the hook actuates and is protruding from the housing. Next remove the bottom screw from the mortise lock. HERE'S THE TRICK: For the second screw, hold the hook of the lock with one hand and with your other hand loosen and remove the last screw. Now guide the lock out of the edge of the door and repeat these steps in reverse to install the new part!
