    Description

    Volume scratchy between 8:00 and 10:00.  Have used DeoxIT a few times and it's helped, just not eliminated the problem.  Also, after 30 mins to an hour of playing the sound gets distorted for 10 or 15 seconds then clears up.  After that, it's fine until the unit gets shut off, cools down, and is powered on again.
    There may be a minor transformer hum
    Cosmetically it's in good condition.  The "Y" on the Sony badge is missing.  There's some duct tape residue on the top at the back.  Sides have some minor scrapes.  Bottom shows signs of rust.  There's a small scratch on the volume knob.
    Not much tech info on this particular model around the web - it's about 100 watts/channel with a good sized power supply and caps.  It packs a punch for sure.
    MM and MC cartridge capabilities, switchable from the front.
