SWEET 5 1/2", jointed celluloid baby doll toy, OCCUPIED JAPAN googly eyes 1940s

Perfect for dolly's Easter basket....
What a darling,
5 1/2" tall,
vintage/antique, jointed Kewpie type, celluloid, baby doll type toy is this early model. Circa 1940s, and wearing a molded yellow, hooded snow suit with
molded peaked topknot
and molded ruffled collar, she has huge, painted intaglio (Googly) eyes and eyebrows, chubby cheeks, sweet mouth, cute little nose and fabulous coloring as well as molded and painted tuft of hair and lovely blushed cheeks. She has joints at her shoulders and hips with flat feet,
signed across her shoulders
with a
clover type insignia with figure inside
and
Made in Occupied Japan
. Similar celluloid baby toys are pictured in, "Celluloid Dolls"-Lauer/Robinson. She is in excellent condition and has no damages or repairs, no splits, cracks or chips (original stringing is loose, needing to be tightened).
