Technics SE-C01 Amplifier, SH-C01 Power Supply, SU-C01 Preamplifier - RESTORED!.
Fully restored Technics micro set, in 9/10 condition. Extremely rare multi voltage set. All pieces have been professionally recapped and adjusted to factory specifications. High quality parts used including Elna Silmic II, Nichicon Gold, Panasonic FC capacitors, as well as new power cords installed. Most solder joints in the amp, preamp, and power supply have been meticulously reflowed too. Many photos will be provided if requested. This set works like new and looks like new. Only faults are the previous owner has scribed a serial number of some sort onto the side of each piece. The amplifier and external power supply both have their original box and packing material, but the preamp does not.
-The SE-C01 amplifier does not like low impedance loads. The lowest impedance speakers I would use with these are 6 ohms. The SE-C01 is not a powerhouse, but it sounds fantastic. If used with a low impedance set of speakers loud, it will clip which is normal for these amplifiers. They can drive a 4 ohm load, but not loud. These are best for a small and efficient pair of bookshelf speakers in a small room. Certainly not a good amplifier for larger tower speakers or other inefficient speakers-
