Ultra rare unit and highly sought after by Sansui collectors as well as QUAD lovers. It decodes QS albums with better fidelity than any of Sansui's earlier QS decoders due to higher quality and more advanced components than those used in the earlier QSD-1 or 2 models. It's been said that Japanese audiophiles pushed Sansui to produce one last "top of the line" QS decoder without consideration for cost; instead to produce it as best as possible.
-This is from Japan market with 100V but works nice and easy on USA/Canada120V supply. If you want, you may use a Step down transformer at your own choice.

Tested with limited ability. We do not have a quad amp to test all 4 channels at one shot. However, we tested front and rear output separately and all channels working perfect as intended.
-Cleaned inside and out and all controls and switches have been de-oxited. Faceplate is in excellent shape including the rosewood panels. Inside is as clean as new. One input posts were bit loose and we re-enforced to perfection. Few light marks and scratches on the top of the cabinet but nothing major. Pictured to avoid any post-sale disappointments but what we can tell you that the overall cosmetics and performance would outweigh any minor imperfections-you bet...
