Vintage Hazel Atlas Moderntone Fired On Pink Cup

This Cup is part of the Moderntone Pastels by Hazel Atlas. Hazel Atlas began its Moderntone line in the late 1930's in the "Ritz" (Cobalt) Blue. When the fired on pastel colors became available, they were made in this shell pink, a lighter pink, and then blue, yellow, and green. Most collectors then and today collect the rainbow of colors and use them together while others collect all of one color.
This Cup has the fired on pink exterior and interior over the white Platonite finish that remains on the bottom of this piece.  Hazel Atlas produced most of their Moderntone pieces in a white and pastel color scheme as well as a solid pastel.  The two schemes can easily be intermingled. The finish on this cup remains glossy and intact. No cracks, chipped edges and only the slightest signs of use.  There are straw marks found on the undersides common in glassware from this time period found from manufacturing that is to be expected.
Measures 4” in diameter without handle, and sits 2 1/2” off the table top.
