    I will be adding A LOT Of dolls this month, all from an estate collection for a friend, and most bagged, kept stored for years by owner. Do check back as I add them daily!
    THIS LISTING:
    Is a circa 1920s maybe EARLY 30s Made in JAPAN toy, a Flapper/Marcelled Hairdo Celluloid doll in the style of Betty Boop. With googly or 'side glancing' eyes. Super color--RED hair, celluloid is not cracked anywhere, arms still attached, does have a dent in tummy that I am not sure you can get out...I would leave as is since dress hides it.
    This celluloid doll has marks between shoulder on back, JAPAN and SS. SS COULD stand for the company Shikishima Skokai which made celluloid dolls from 1920s to 30s.
    She is dressed a vintage yellow gingham handmade dress, super sweet! She stands " tall. SUPER FUN dolls, these Betty Boop type dolls display wonderfully especially if you like the kitchy, retro look!
