Vintage Japanese Original 4 Panel Folding Screen Byobu Painting on Silk

Description

A GORGEOUS statement PAINTING on silk screen!  Artist signed and is in what I would call excellent condition, only very, very minor wear from age and use (look at the close up pics) minus any major tears (there is a very tiny surface tear where the screen folds inward that is completely hidden once the screen is hung), there are no stains whatsoever, no cracks, restorations or major damage of any kind.  Only a few minor dings to the wood frame at corner of one side (see picture).
Painted scene is of a court of women, tending to what I think is a seated empress or royalty of some kind in a beautiful garden setting.  Gold background that shimmers and shines beautifully in lighted room.  Screen measures 72 inches wide by 36 inches tall.
