This is a Whimsical Peacock Feather Mosaic. I think it turned out really cute! This is handcrafted by me
! This feather is mainly yellow and lavender in color. I used lots of pretty stain glass, tiles, ceramic pieces and beads and a little dichroic glass too. All my mosaics are 100% handcrafted by me, here's how I do it...
I use 1/4 inch MDF board, I cut out my shape and prep it and apply a very sturdy D ring to the back for hanging before applying the glass design to it. Once it's done
I grout it and paint the sides and back with black paint.
It measures approx. 13 1/2 X 5 1/2 inches. None of my mosaics are exactly alike. I sign and date the back of all my mosaic art before shipping it out to you!
My mosaics are for indoor use only. This is made of glass so it can be sharp and is not intended for children.
